When you're caught up in the daily grind of living and working in London, a reminder of the many simple ways you can enjoy your city is invaluable.
Did you know, for example, that there's a dedicated ferry to taxi you between Tate Britain at Millbank and Tate Modern at Bankside? Dexters' resident art buffs think this is a fine way to spend a summer's day. The rest of us, meanwhile, are planning brunch on the barge at Tamesis dock for the next time we walk the Thames path between Lambeth and Vauxhall.
If you're looking for property to buy or rent in London and want to enjoy The Thames everyday, take a look at our riverside apartments. This beautiful new development at Canada Water comes with an onsite concierge and private balconies to enjoy the view.
Contact Dexters' Tower Bridge office for more information on our riverside properties.
The Tate galleries - Britain at Millbank and Modern at Bankside - have their own boat (also known as RB2) that plies between the two every 45 minutes during gallery opening hours (£8.10 single). Not only do you see the river views that Turner, Monet and others painted but it takes just 14 minutes and is far more convenient than bus or tube. You can also do Tate to Tate tours - a tour of Tate Modern in the morning, a river trip to Millbank and a tour of Tate Britain in the afternoon: £24.30pp. See tate.org.uk/visit/tate-boat.
