Do you do brunch? If the answer is yes then you’re in luck, because in London the bottomless brunch is here to stay. Dexters took a look at Justopenedlondon’s latest list of the twelve best brunch destinations in town and were not surprised to see several of our favourites on the list.
It certainly seems that there’s a brunch for everyone. Carrying on the party from the night before? Try Bunga Bunga in Battersea. Seeking an instagram-worthy Sunday? A wander through Clerkenwell's Exmouth Market after Eggs Benedict at Bourne and Hollingsworth will be perfect.
Meanwhile, Dexters’ personal brunch recommendation is number six on the list, Asia de Cuba, at St Martin’s Lane Hotel. We think this smart but unstuffy restaurant and innovative menu is special enough for a birthday celebration, whatever your age.
With so many of our estate agents living and working in central London, you’ll find our local knowledge unparalleled. This makes all the difference when it comes to matching a tenant or buyer with a new home, from shared rental properties in Battersea to period conversions in Clerkenwell. Take a look at our property listings for a flavour of some of the exceptional prime properties on offer.
The chef ‘s mixed Cuban and Asian heritage is used to great effect across the menus at Asia de Cuba within St Martin’s Lane Hotel, and on the brunch menu in particular. There are a few different brunch packages, but whatever you go for you’ll start with some incredible snacks ‘for the table’ like guava and cream cheese patelitos, dangerously moreish mini Cuban sandwiches and shrimp churros. Then, order a main course each from the a la carte: Cuban Benedicts are popular, and there’s a Cuban sandwich (a rare sight on London menus). Brunch packages range from £35-£70 depending on the food and drinks you go for, but we’d recommend the £45 deal which gets you the menu we’ve described plus limitless mojitos, mimosas, Bellinis or bespoke Bloody Marys. Save space for the Mexican chilli doughnuts.
