If you have a favourite floral display that cheers you up on the way to or from work each day, now’s the time to share it with the world.
As part of its 50th Anniversary celebrations this year, London in Bloom has widened its categories to include parks and public gardens, front gardens and balconies: they will even consider your “favourite floral pub”. The entries with the most nominations will get an invitation to the London in Bloom awards ceremony, later this year, to receive a trophy and possibly a prize.
You can nominate your preferred park, best balcony display or prettiest pub here. Alternatively, if you are a professional horticulturist, gardener, keen amateur gardener or conservationist or if you’ve had experience with community gardening, you might be interested in becoming a London in Bloom judge.
If you are selling a London property, this is an excellent time to get it looking its best, by refreshing tired-looking outdoor pots, filling hanging baskets or giving the garden a quick makeover. The next step should be to contact London estate agent Dexters for an accurate property valuation, based on our extensive experience of selling homes in the capital.
This in our 50th Anniversary Year, we have widened access to London in Bloom by asking residents throughout London to nominate their favourite/best Public Park or Garden, the favourite floral Pub and the best front garden or balcony as seen from the road or public highway.
